        Distingushed personalities like former education minister Prof. Joseph Mundassery, former finance minister Prof. N K Shesan, famous writer Prof. M P Paul, the teacher's leader Prof V R Subramanya Ayer, the entrance coaching king Prof. P C Thomas, famous historian Shev. George Menachery, etc had made their foot prints in St.Thomas College by their service.

         Since 2002 the portals of this college are open to women as well. At present, St.Thomas' College  is one of the largest and most reputed  Arts and Science Colleges in Kerala. At the national level, St. Thomas' College has been accredited with a B + + stature in 2004 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, an autonomous organization instituted by the University Grants Commission. We completed the re-accreditation process  in September 2010 and NAAC accredited the college with A grade and 3.58 points out of 4.00. With this grade we stand first in district and III in state.
        This great institution has made indelible and ineffable contribution to all areas of human activities.  Mahatma Gandhi, Neelam Sanjeev Reddy, Sri Narasimha Rao and Mother Theresa are some of the eminent personalities who visited this college on solemn occasions in the past Committed to the cause of liberating the masses from their abyss of intellectual slavery and darkness, by witnessing to and promulgating truth, St.Thomas College has now anchored on the 90th year of service.
