The College Library with its one lakh of volumes, and very rich and rare volumes, is the best Library of all the colleges under Calicut University. There are three sections for the library namely General, Science and Arts. General Library holds Reference, Classics, Malayalam, Sanskrit and foreign language collections while the Science library has to its credit highly valuable titles on Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics and Statistics. Arts Library keeps volumes on English Literature, History, Economics and Commerce. The valuable collection include forty sets of Encyclopaediae, twenty sets of Dictionaries and Directories of various categories. Some of the collections are very rare, viz. the Encyclopaedia of Visual Arts (18 vols) Book of Knowledge, Children's Encyclopaedia (24 vols), Funk & Wagnall's New Encyclopaedia of Ecology and Enviornment (30 vols) and Encyclopaedia of Animal World (21 vols). In the collection of Dictionaries there are 20 sets of various types. Among them A New English Dictionary (19 vols), published in 1888, is the rarest and the most valuble one. Moreover, Dictionaries of Malayalam / English by Herman Gundert, Malayalam / Portuguese by Arnos Padiri are available in the Library.
